This pub in St Helens is highly rated for a reason. Some may think it could be more affordable, but you get what you pay for! The food is great and they have a good selection of beer. It's a fantastic place to visit.

This is one of the best pubs I have visited in a long time. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. Well done in my opinion!

I recently visited this restaurant after not going for a while and was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in. Based on the bar manager's recommendation, I tried the sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce. It was cooked perfectly and the staff were very attentive, ensuring both myself and my food were to my liking. My stress levels went from a ten to a two after dining here. The food, atmosphere, and staff were all excellent. I would give this place a 10/10. Thanks to the staff at this pub in St Helen's for a great experience. I especially appreciated the generous portions of delicious home cooked food, including the massive steak kebab. A special thank you to the young man with the ponytail who made us feel so welcome. Food was lovely, large positions, had the mix grill, the young lady behind the bar was very friendly and very grateful of the tip i left, will definitely eat there again
