Hong Kong Kitchen - St Ives

I've come across some negative reviews and wanted to share my positive experience instead. This restaurant is cash-only and gets quite busy due to its popularity, which is a testament to its quality. The food is excellent, and the staff, along with the owner, are extremely friendly. This review isn’t from a cynical tourist!

This is the best Chinese restaurant in St Ives, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s outstanding. The quality can be quite inconsistent, so I completely understand the mixed reviews. On a bad day, I would rate it only 1 star, but on a good day, it could easily earn 5 stars. Overall, I’d say my experience was more positive than negative! Please note that they only accept cash, but there is an ATM just a short walk away.

I had dinner last night and was pleasantly surprised to find that I only waited 10 minutes for my order to be ready for pickup. Everything was perfect! The food was hot and beautifully presented. The squid was delicious, and we left feeling very happy. I've seen mixed reviews about this place, but I can say that it’s neither the worst nor the best Chinese food I've ever had. Overall, it was a nice dinner, and I would definitely recommend it!
