Meada's Garden - St. John

The restaurant is closed but continues to accept reservations, which is confusing. I visited, and it seems like it has been shut for quite a while. I recommend not making any reservations here.

The restaurant is permanently closed, yet I was still able to make a reservation. I arrived and was extremely disappointed.

Nicole and Marielle (I hope I spelled that right) were amazing and made our night so fun! One of our favorite spots in St. John

Mariella, our server was friendly and very attentive. I didn’t want the special cocktails and just wine or Prosecco and she got me a nice glass of Prosecco that wasn’t on menu. The food was very good. We had lobster nachos based on the reviews and definitely delish. We had too many apps so I was already full. I ordered the tamarind bbq shrimp app as my main with white rice and they played it beautifully. The tangy was what I wanted but in small portion so it was perfect. We went on the early side so it wasn’t too crowded. The outdoor garden at night was so pretty.

Host, ambiance and sushi was amazing. It took over an hour to get our appetizer and rolls going and the servers were upset and would mumble the roll name and drop them on our table. I kept reading amazing reviews on travel groups and it was disappointing to be treated that way. Hoping it was just an off night and maybe something had gone on before we got there.
