The menu offers a variety of options, from fresh fish and chips to wings, homemade burgers, hot turkey dinners, onion rings, and mozza sticks. There is also a kids menu with chicken nuggets and more. Don't forget to try their Poutines, a Canadian classic. Be sure to inquire about the Trucker's Special when you visit - the prices are very reasonable!
I was on the hunt for some good food and stumbled upon this cozy little restaurant. I was blown away by the delicious cod and chips they served. The portions were generous, with big pieces of flavorful fish and a generous helping of crispy, golden-brown fries. It truly felt like an authentic taste of Newfoundland.
Many people don't know about Betty's, but they have the best fish and chips in town! I love how to insert sawed onions and green pees with your dressing and engraving!
I ordered a deluxe fish and chips and wings and chips with a side of medium gravy and asked for the fish and wings to be plated separately. The lady in the kitchen complained to the man about separating the wings and fish on different plates, which I did not appreciate. I could hear everything she said from the kitchen - she was very loud, rude, and ignorant. I felt like requesting a refund and leaving. Despite paying $30, when I ate the deluxe meal, the fries were undercooked and the onions were raw. The meal was mediocre and lacked wings, which were supposed to be included. The wings that were served were overcooked and not tasty. I will never go back to this place again; it was a waste of money. The only positive aspect was the friendly demeanor of the man who served me. It's a shame he has to work with such an ignorant lady. The restaurant's name does not match the experience; it should be called Betty's Worst Fish and Chips.
Great flaky fried fish but fries are not super and seafood chowder was so salty we struggled_So not bother ordering the odd 'neon green' drink.
