I ordered two egg rolls and the house special soup. The egg rolls were made with spring roll wrappers and lacked traditional ingredients like bean sprouts. The soup was bland and tasted like a broth made from pig bones rather than the expected chicken, shrimp, and beef. The meat pieces in the soup were very small and difficult to identify. The wontons did not contain any meat, only the wrappers. Despite having a variety of dishes on the buffet, most of them were chicken-based. The chow mein did not include bean sprouts, making it questionable whether it was authentic. The one shrimp dish I tried was overcooked, leaving the shrimp rubbery and unappetizing. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.
We wanted to sit down and we went to the restaurant aimlessly trying to find a booth that was illuminated decently. Beverages took 15 minutes to arrive, but the place was almost empty and there were 6 servers around. We sat on our stand for...15 minutes waiting for a menu or drinks...... We didn't even know if the buffet was open (because of Covid Restrictions), but we saw a client eating buffet so we asked another server when the buffet was opened. The conversation was very amusing as she did not speak English (this is not a racist comment, she actually did not speak English at all and was embarrassing that she could not understand us, but tried with us anyway... and it was PAINFUL. Why take someone to tables if you can't communicate). We decided to wait until our drinks arrived, to open OUR Server IF the buffet and ask IF so HOW MUCH. 15 minutes later we decided to screw up and get to the buffet. Minutes later our server was there and we asked how much... $29.99 PERSON. Crazy. The dishes, like they were old, my friend ate pork and spit it out. The kung pow chicken was fine as the onion rings and there was a large BBQ chicken dish on the back of the buffet that was not marked. Apart from that, most dishes were terrible. There was no service at all, but there were around like 6 or 7 employees. We only got a napkin that didn't have napkins at the table, no drink up until we left. My iced tea tasted like the machine was broken. Highway robbery $30 per person. They don't tell you how much the buffet is. $30 for cafeteria like, day old Chinese cuisine and NO FORTUNE COOKIE. I know this happiness of restaurants: “A great change is in your future”.... this place will not survive if it continues as it is.
If you find this review helpful, please let us know by clicking the button below! Thank you. Online ordering is confusing and difficult to do. Ordered dinner for 8th food was OK, but not exceptional with most dishes very average taste. We had a great variety! There's better in town.
The food was okay. Nothing to write home. They also no longer have sushi and roasted duck as they used for the dinner menu. You pay more for less food. Wouldn't recommend.
I tried to place a takeout order online from this restaurant and found their website to be extremely confusing. I spent half an hour trying to find the menu, but only came across the appetizers. I eventually gave up and decided to call instead. However, after several attempts, I found that their mailbox was full. Frustrated, I ended up calling another place for my food instead.
