Lynda's Home Cookin' - St. John's

We absolutely adored Lynda's. It closed in 2015 and we really miss it. Lynda's homemade burgers were delicious. We miss you, Lynda.

I am from Newfoundland and visited Bay Roberts earlier this year for a wedding. Someone recommended Lynda's, which is located off the main road, so we decided to give it a try. Our group was extremely impressed by the high quality and generous portions of food, the diverse menu options, affordable prices, homemade ingredients, and the exceptionally friendly service. My friends and I are planning to return to Bay Roberts this weekend specifically to dine at Lynda's once again.

During our journey to our next destination on the island, we stopped for gas in Bay Roberts. When we asked for a recommendation for a good restaurant, we were told about Lynda's. It's located on a quiet street behind the Speedy Auto Glass Store, but definitely worth finding. The service was excellent and the food was even better. Make sure to try the toast with your coffee - the bread is locally renowned and incredibly delicious. Trust me, you won't be disappointed if you give it a try.

Our group was AMAZED by the quality and quantity of food, the variety on the menu, reasonable prices, the fact that everything was homemade and the very friendly service. My friends and I are making a trip this weekend to Bay Roberts just to eat again at Lynda's.
