Rupert's Deli - St. John's

Rupert's is absolutely amazing! The sandwiches are superior to anything you can find elsewhere, with their fresh meats, generous portions, delicious toppings, and gigantic size. The drive from town is definitely worth it for the outstanding quality and freshness of the sandwiches. I can't believe they are so reasonably priced. The cheesecakes are divine, rich but not overly heavy. The customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend Rupert's to anyone looking for a tasty, filling sandwich made with the freshest ingredients.

I recently tried Rupert's based on a friend's recommendation and I was pleasantly surprised. My wife, who typically doesn't enjoy sandwiches, couldn't stop raving about the one we had at Rupert's. We opted for the smoked meat club sandwich and finished off with a slice of cheesecake for dessert. The sandwiches were prepared fresh on the spot with all the ingredients being very fresh, including the homemade mayo. The variety of cheesecakes available each day are also fantastic, ensuring there will be a flavor to suit everyone's taste. I was warned to arrive before 12:30 if I wanted cheesecake as it sells out quickly. The prices are quite reasonable, especially given the generous portion sizes. The restaurant only accepts cash, but there is an ATM at the gas station across the street. Despite the distance to reach Rupert's, it is definitely worth the trip. It's hands down the best sandwich in the metro region, possibly even on the island.

I recently tried the southwest club sandwich at this restaurant and it was hands down the best sandwich I have ever had. The service provided by the friendly gentleman working there was exceptional. I will definitely be returning soon!

Just tried Rupert's for the first time and it's safe to say it won't be the last. We got the spicy chicken sandwich and the triple berry cheesecake, both were amazing. Something I really value is good service and good is definitely an understatement for what you get there. He was supper friendly and welcoming, gave me a free slice of peanut butter cheesecake to test out for him (which I highly recommend and we didn't realize there was mustard on the sandwich so we went back to buy another one without it and he gave it to us free of charge which he definitely didn't need to. Was a great first experience and we can't wait to come back and try the other items :

Worth the drive! We walked in at open and it smelled amazing! Fresh chicken, (an entire breast for sure and more) ham and crispy bacon , only took a few mins to put it together. The cheesecake was delicious and full of Oreos! The owner was very friendly and the price was well worth it, it’s a big sandwich! we will be back!
