Barney Allen's - St Kilda

Has lost a lot of the atmosphere that existed before. Menu not very interesting. There is a AU$ 20 steak with a glass of wine or a beer available on Wednesday nights. Very loud music over the weekend nights.

Love the food here. The slider selection is great value. Burgers and fried chicken are both amazing. Very good value for money. The only negative I have is I can't sit outside (with the dog) as it's often full with smokers, otherwise I'd be here a lot more.

We were on a walking tour, self guided, and found this place, I wish we had given it more time, and I wish we had eaten here, it is a great bar, we had a beer, the place just feels good, and we had a chat with the barman, who was very engaging, and I later found out, was "Barney Allen" more bars should be like this, just go

Simple but great food easy to eat and sip wine what more do you want easy to get to and great staff at the ready

Called in to meet a bunch of friends. Good venue for this as you can stand around or sit on stools. Couples [or smaller numbers] can sit at bar or if eating more than bar food at the tables provided. Good range of food and drinks. Service and smiles were appreciated and food we had was good.
