Veludo Bar Restaurant - St Kilda

When booking via open table, make sure that the personal checks them correctly on their system. they did not do this when we arrived and the next day we got a complain from the open table for non-visit! and that is after we spent more than $100 for eating and drinks! even if we arrived, our desired table was not available, although we booked a few weeks in advance. waited for 10-15 minutes for the menus then started chasing the waiter. eating is only average and so the ambiente is not recommended. there are many good restaurants on acland st so wisely choose.

The food was poor (didn’t look like the photos), overpriced and bar staff were creepy. Wouldn’t recommend. I know the bar at the top used to be good for a night out but this was really disappointing.

We were lucky enough to find Veludo via the Open Table app. Fabulous food and really lovely staff.

This venue does not sell food. Even though I booked for dinner, it wasn't until wearrived that we were told they dontserve food anymore

Average food. Porterhouse was average, vegetables weren’t great. Wasn’t given a drink menu on arrival, had to ask for it.
