Tried this restaurant yesterday. Had a reservation for Valentine’s Day. The food was really good and the waiter was nice. The restaurant wasn’t really crowded when we got there and we still had to wait. The table we got was a high top by the bar, would have preferred a booth or other table in the dining area but all in all it was a good experience. First time here and I would say that the food was good, wine was good and hands down best best espresso martini I’ve ever had!! I ordered the 8 oz filet cooked however chef recommend and husband ordered lasagna and with our entrees we both got the Caesar salad. The salad wasn’t heavy which was perfect. Everything tasted delicious! I can’t get over how delicious the expresso martini was! My only thing I would say was a negative was getting dirty menu that had a piece of lettuce on it. As a former host it’s good to check the menus before you give them to the guest. Overall our server was nice and friendly and the food was delicious.Thank you Matt M. for the recommendation.

My wife and I have dined at Vangel’s multiple times. The food is always consistent and delicious. From hostess Amelia to the proprietor Louie, the hospitality is relaxed and fun. Enjoyable experience!

I came in a little early and wanted take out. They were very kind and obliged me. I got a smash burger. It was very good. The fries were great too. It was not just a normal burger. It was juicy and used white cheese. It was a surprise and and a very nice one.
