I decided to get the Monkey cakes as that sounded good to me. It was a very large portion and quite sweet (and I like sweet. The middle of the stack was dry. I kept thinking it needed a little whipped topping to cut some of the sweetness and help with the dryness but I was catching up with my friend so I let it go. I ate half of the cakes and decided to take the rest home. My friend had a lovely looking coffee and I'm sure it tasted great too. I would go back to try another menu item as they have some unique flavor combinations. Our server was great!
Fun menu and delicious cocktails in an open and inviting atmosphere. Service is friendly and prompt. Make reservations if you don't want to wait on the weekend!Parking: Underground ramp right next door
This place is a gem! Our entire family loves this place. The menu is not only HUGE (seriously, there are so many dishes including 15 variations on waffles/pancakes/french toast), but it is inventive yet comfort-filled. All of the dishes are executed consistently well. The coffees are great. The service is pretty fast even on a busy Saturday brunch. We’ve especially enjoyed the stuffed poblano and the biscuits and gravy. Their gravy is fantastic, but their biscuits are the only biscuits in town that I’ve had that I would order twice. My wife loves them as her normal dish, but I was shocked by how good they were compared to any others tbh at I’ve had.Honestly, if I have to find a critique—and it is a stretch to do so—it is that the space is just a touch loud due to the concrete floors and bare ceilings.
I've been here several times, and this a brunch staple for me now. The lattes are delicious. The food is wonderful every time, and the portions are nice. The staff is kind, and you can also order breakfast cocktails. I highly recommend making a reservation to avoid long wait times.
Yummy food overall, but some comments about them.Chicken biscuit: sauce and pickles were overpoweringFried chicken and waffles: not enough syrup so many dry bites, mine also came in a bowl which was difficult for cuttingHorchata cafe: can't really taste the warm spices, just bitter
