When I arrived, the restaurant was empty, so I took a seat at the sushi bar and ordered a Rainbow Roll and some combination fried rice. The fried rice was decent, but the sushi left much to be desired. The fish on the roll was quite scarce, and the overall appearance was underwhelming. The Rainbow Roll cost around $14.00, which isn't overly expensive for a well-prepared roll, but this one did not meet that standard. I won't be returning to this place on my next visit to St. Louis, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for good sushi in downtown.
Everything was excellent. The sushi was amazing, and I highly recommend the Philly steak roll. I'm sure I'll be returning soon!
Overall, this was an average or a bit above average experience. What was disappointing was the product we ordered: 6 course Valentine’s Day meal. This wasn’t the greatest not because of the food quality, but because our waitress forgot about course number 1 and then lied trying to make my wife and I buy the idea that the package was a 5 instead of 6 course meal. Thankfully, the manager understood and didn’t allow us to pay full price.
A bit pricy. The food tasted fine but Witt those astronomical prices, I will probably not return. Service was good. Very quiet atmosphere even though it’s Friday night.
The food was good. The service was okay, but our server wasn't always around, which was strange because it was not particularly busy. All in all, a good experience.
