Iowa Buffet - St. Louis

Came from out of town to look for a place to have a drink. This place was awesome. Very friendly staff :

Dropped in for an Open Mic night event as a performer; along with my buddy who uses a wheelchair. I performered in the back patio area which was comfy. We are a burger, fries, and fried cauliflower bites. All three dishes were decent but nothing spectacular. The owner was in. She was very kind and was helpful in asking how she could accomadate my friend and serving us our food. The front entrance is only accessable to the most nimble of chair users to get over the small couple of steps leading into the dinning area/bar. Their is a gate to the rear area the owner was kind enough to open for us. It also has a small lip to get over to access the outside area. Overall positive experience and I intend on going back to try the rest of the menu.

First it's not a buffet. Second many of the menu items were not available. More of s Bar Grill with a real gas grill. I haven't seen one of those in years. I'd say this is a locals sort of place. Could use some work to be more than it is currently.

Extremely small space which make it cozy. Drinks were well priced and burgers are really good.
