Tequila Mexican - St. Louis

The food was great and the service was even better. I got the Monster burrito and it was really good!

It was cute inside the food wasn't good sadly. The server gave me a thin ribeye instead of carna asada which he said was 2 thin pieces. I was very unhappy with the ribeye. At least it was cheap. My servers where nice though....

This place is really starting to slide. We were there Saturday night, and the girl was just horrible. She never brought our cheese dip appetizer, never got around to refills, and were just rude when she came to the table. Fine, whatever, she was having a bad night, maybe. It used to be that tequilas was good, fast, and on their fiesta menu. They were affordable. Well gone are those days. The food is still good but the low cost and good service is history. Tonight, i go in there to finally get the cheese dip that they forgot Saturday night, and they give one little half a filled bag of chips. I asked for another bag, and he wants to charge me $3.76.... for something i should have had included Saturday. It's stupid. I have to pay for salsa when i just want chips and cheese dip after a bad day of work. Well, after decades of tequilas being my families go-to mexican, i think it's time we start exploring other places.

Waitress was awesome service was good! I was hoping to enjoy the potato enchiladas a lot more but they just put mashed potatoes in them which to me didn't taste good. I'm used to soft cut potatoes. I didn't realize they came with meat and my waitress was very kind and had them remade for me.

The food is pretty mediocre. i love that we got chips salsa with our takeout (a lot too) but the salsa wasn't flavorful and was too liquidy, for my liking at least. we got more food than we could eat! the nacho supreme was quite good but i didn't eat the chicken part. my husband took a bite of the chicken and didn't think it tasted right so i ended up just eating the beef, which was good and filling in itself. i thought it was a little silly that we got a tomato slice but i didnt care because i don't like tomatoes anyway. the cheese sauce was on the bottom of the plate and absolutely the best part of the nachos! i wish there was more on the side or something because i just wanted to dip all the chips into that cheese! our food was done within 10 minutes of ordering. quick way to get your money's worth of mexican food. i think that we'd come back for some chips cheese dip sometime.
