Initially, I was worried about their ability to accommodate 30 guests and if they had settled into their new space. However, my concerns were quickly put to rest. Upon arrival, I noticed that they had arranged a long table for 30 guests, divided into three tables of 10 for easy access. Throughout the evening, there were two waiters attending to each table, taking orders, serving food, and ensuring that drinks were kept topped up. The service was not only efficient but also very professional. Despite the potential language barrier that can sometimes be encountered in Indian restaurants, there were no communication issues at all. The waiters were friendly, engaging, and shared jokes with all of us. For more details on my experience, please visit my blog review [hidden link].
After moving to St Neots from East London, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the staff at the restaurant also hailed from there. The food was outstanding and the staff always made time to chat with you, even when they were busy. The biryani was the best I had ever tasted. I wish there was a restaurant like Narweb in the East End. I couldn't find any fault with Narweb. Even when they were busy, they still managed to find a table for those who hadn't booked. The complimentary liqueur after the meal was a nice finishing touch, and the staff's manners were impeccable - they shook your hand, helped with coats, and even opened the door for you. I would highly recommend this restaurant - 5 stars.
The Nawab Lounge had moved and it was now in a building at least times its previous size, I was concerned they would struggle serving people and I was unsure if they had yet settled into their new ‘home’. However I needn’t be concerned. On arrival I could see they had made a long table of split into tables of so people could get in and out easily, as the night went on they had waitors per table, this included taking drink orders, food orders, serving food and topping up drinks or dealing with queries, they were so helpful and so professional. There is sometimes a language barrier in Indian Restaurants, but there was no language barrier at all and the waiters were having a laugh and joke with all of us.For more details of my tip see my blog review http
We used this restaurant many times when we lived in St Neots and found the food to be of the best quality, the service second to none and the facilities [loos] exceptionally clean on every visit. I look forward to a return visit very soon.
