The price of the food does not line up with the quality of the food. The food was subpar. The wicker chairs for the terrace were un-wickering. The tables were wobbly. There was hardly any lighting. And the lights that they did have on the umbrellas started dying not long into the meal. It took over an hour for food to be served. Definitely not somewhere I'll be going again. It wasn't worth the drive.
Okay, these restaurants do not know how to cook anything vegetarian or vegan. They've to master one vegan dish in the menu and they spoil it. Enough of the rant! In a very touristy Florida, this place stands out because of the fact that it's rotating. It takes nearly an hour to complete the rotation and the menu should be great for meat lovers, I am guessing. We started with bruschetta and it was great with goat cheese. We ordered a side of asparagus, which was for the table. It was a bad choice because of too much of same taste. The service was a little slow as the place became crowded. The food was fast though. The tofu was bad. I mean, BAD. It could've been much better. The prices were okay compared to the west coast prices. So, a big yes on that.!!! The view from some places during the sunset is gorgeous. I'll may be spend the extra money for the view and definitely not for the food.
People need to understand that when you come here you're paying for ambiance, view and good food. That's why it's a little more expensive than some places. The view can't be beat, it was incredible. We started with the scallops which come with 3 large bacon wrapped scallops. They were very tasty. For our entrees, we both had the 16oz ribeyes cooked medium rare. They were cooked perfectly, I was very surprised by how good they were, considering this place probably isn't known as a steak house. We had a side of the mashed potatoes, they were amazing, just needed some salt. We finished with the chocolate cake. It was just a good chocolate cake, nothing too special. All in all it was very expensive but we expected that going in, they did a great job for us!
My family and I went for brunch on a Sunday. The view is great and the restaurant makes a full spin in about an hour and so you will have a chance to see the 360 view. BUT, the food is blah. If you are ok spending $40 per person for a continental quality breakfast that is what you will get. The staff is extremely friendly though.
Food was awful! Everything we had was not good. Wedge salad, Bruschetta, wings, crab cake
