This tiny vegan supermarket is a well hidden lifesaver on a quant street of Vasilievsky island just a bridge away from the center of St. Petersburg. You 're likely to need Google maps to find it, because it lies through an archway in a sort of inner courtyard between buildings, however, they do have a bright green sign proclaiming vegan store on the sidewalk. This is not really a supermarket but rather a corner store. It has all the essentials one may need, especially while traveling. 100% vegan, it boasts various nut milks, yogurts, faux deli items, cheeses, ice creams, grains, granola bars, etc. It also has some more curious objects like pre made hamburgers, cheesecake, and soaps. Most of the products have ingredient lists only in Russian and Finnish (lots of Finnish products) but the young man working the counter speaks good English and is more than happy to help you translate or to explain what something is. Overall, I very much recommend a trip to this market if you 're in town for a few days and want to have access to some staple foods like milk and yogurt. Prices are not too bad, the selection is quite good, and the service is very friendly.
