Lento - St Roch

Great restaurant if you like oysters definitely come on a Tuesday. The trout today was so fresh and the side just complimented the dish so elegantly. Must try!

Service was slow and the lamb was severely under cooked.

We had a very good dinner at Lento this past weekend. We sat outside and it was quite pleasant. Staff was great. The duck was cooked and sliced to perfection over a very good fried rice. My wife's scallop dish was also quite good. For both meals the sauces were excellent. For dessert, the profiteroles were really good, 3 of them with ice cream in the middle. I highly recommend the rolls with espresso ice cream, you will not be dissappointed.

Just stayed in the area one night and thrilled to find this treasure. The Village Gate Square is so charming! We enjoyed outdoor seating on a perfect night. The rosé and Prosecco were a lovely start. Enjoyed Virginia oysters, Lento Caesar salad, red gold beet salad and chilled Spanish octopus salad. All delicious, flavorful and the perfect serving size. The surprise was the house rosemary focaccia full of flavor! Dessert was ice cream w/ black button bourbon cream and chocolate sorbet wonderfully rich! Jehenna was our waitress, she was very knowledgeable about the wines the menu, we appreciated her recommendations and followed them she steered us right. All other staff that came by to fill water, bring out or clear plates were equally professional, knowledgeable and polite. Wonderful evening!

Food is fine. Service is a little ignoring. And it is WAY TOO SLOOOWWWW. We sit for an hour and only thing we get is the drink and one appetizer. Didn’t expect oysters to be quick but, how about other entries? We sit there hungry and bored and nobody has checked us the whole time. This is the third time we’ve been here and it gets worse and worse. We are more and more disappointed every time we come.
