Tree Restaurant And Bar -the Lodge At Woodloch

We arrived early to our special occasion dinner and sat at the bar. we ordered a bottle of wine and waited for our sitting. we requested a window table and sat on request. the view was from a forest with a lake in the background. chipmunks played outside the window for about fifteen minutes, then we saw two brains slinking through the trees. one of the brains came directly on the paved terrace and continued to feed on bushes and other food only from our view down. the service was good with two participants, but they did not seem in sinus and left my waterglass to remain empty for some time. eating was good, but not excellent. I ordered a soft bowl basket cup that was very chewing. I'm just biting. my wife ordered sparing cream soup that she took only two spoons and said it tastes like fish stock. for the escape she ordered the calves she enjoyed, and I order a filet that was tender, but I prefer my steaks grilled. the meal consisted of five cures with a double spoon of a delicious cream pudding, a small delicious salad, whisper, the extravagant but delicious. the wein was an excellent napa valley cabernet and its wine list was exceptional. that made the experience very pleasant. for the opposite it was probably the most romantic restaurant available and while it was good, we had better general meals and service to other places. with the tip we spent over $300 for the evening, which is quite expensive for a less than the tip of the line dinner.

I have often gedimt here and is one of my favorite restaurants. although it is always excellent, this past visit from beginning to end was the absolute best.

What a nice hotel that was looking out from our table was peaceful. the waiting staff was great like eating. I can't wait to return.

The cuisine was fantastic. Steak was perfect. The views were great. We were seated in the library section of the restaurant I'm so glad we were, it's quieter and more romantic, if that's what you are looking for. There were fire places and there was live music. Just one guy and his guitar so it wasn't too loud. Full bar menu as well as an extensive wine list. Great place.
