Mackenzie's Stores - Staffin

I visited this lovely small business in a quaint village in May 2022. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We stopped by for some light snacks before heading to our next destination. The owner even helped us warm up our cakes. Initially, we intended to order takeaway, but it turns out they only offer takeaway options on the weekends.

This takeout spot on the Isle of Skye offers a wide variety of vegetarian, vegan, and meat options. There aren't many dining choices in the area for those visiting the local attractions. Be sure to save this place for your next trip, as it’s conveniently located near Mealt Falls, Kilt Rock viewpoint, and the Quiraing vista.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! We were warmly welcomed by Sonia, who was both friendly and fun. We ordered three curries tailored to our taste, and they were simply delicious. The naan bread was buttery, hot, and absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend making a visit here. There are plenty of other dishes to try as well. Great experience overall!

What an AMAZING place! Incredible curry and such lovely people.

It is a small shop run by a very friendly, generous and helpful Hindu family. They sell food and make some amazing bacon and sausage rolls. They have tables by the road where you can order your drink while they prepare your food and bring it to you. If it is raining they take it directly to the car. We repeat 2 days with them. Thank you for being who you are. Totally recommendable.
