Great to find this little cafe open for breakfast on a Sunday morning, when we were in Gnosall for a cat show. Food was simple but tasty, owner was friendly and would probably have cooked us just about anything we wanted. Rather strange place 'vintage ' decor which looked as though someone had cleared out a junk shop, very crowded with stuff, not really warm enough but she apologised for that. Definitely qualifies as quirky, but we rather liked it, and will definitely go back if we 're in the area.
Visited with friends by bike and made very welcome. Coffee and toasted tea cakes all good. Owner friendly helped us park bikes safely. An Aladins cave inside of bric a brac
You will never be disappoinged if you book a Sunday lunch at Retro Greens . I call it Rachel's cafe as Rachel is welcoming, helpful and is such a good cook too. I had lamb shank which was so tender if fell off the bone. Plenty of veg, roasties and home made yorkshire puddings. While we were eating this Rachel made bread and butter pudding. It was delicious. I shall go again and again and again!
Visited Green’s today for brunch and it was lovely , fresh and tasty. Lots of variety of homemade and fresh cooked food available. Prices are very good too. Doesn’t open on a Mon Weds. Decor is fabulous if you like vintage and retro quirkiness, and we love it. Cross between tearoom and cafe. Lady owner manager is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food was hot , filling and available to take out aswell as eat in. I had the homemade leek potato soup with fresh bread spot on . Plenty of options that can be made vegan veggie. Being vegan i could have chosen jacket spud with beans, mushrooms, avocado salad. There was also veg curry or breakfast items like Poveys oatcakes , toasties etc. Will deffo be back
