The Wheatsheaf

This is the first review I have posted. We love this Weatherspoons and visit most weeks. The staff are the best always pleasant helpful and professional. The manager Diane runs her team so efficiently and is willing to accommodate any requests . It's very clean well stocked the food is great delivered to the table quickly by lovely staff. We cannot fault this pub/restaurant it offers fantastic value and service better than more expensive counterparts. Well done to everyone it proves that a manager who leads from the front succeeds

We stayed in Cheadle for 3 nights due to its location near alton Towers. Our journey down was horrendous so we simply went to the nearest place that did food and drink. We were so glad we did. Far and away the best wetherspoons we've ever been to. Cheaper than our local ones, cleaner, and simply brilliant friendly staff. Oh, and the food was gorgeous, we ended up going every night of our stay

No usually a fan of Wetherspoons, today was a refreshing change, instead of the usual complacency shown towards customers, the staff today were really friendly. The manager, Steve was very welcoming and friendly. Certainly, not your usual disinterested front person. I will be back.

Selfish staff leaving doors open so the draft kept blowing through Did not enjoy my meal at all as i was so cold due to the breeze Please consider your guests

Came here with friends and we was having a lovely night chatting away Wen diane came over to clear glasses and starts ranting i hope your not vaping in here else you will be kicked out I mean yes there was vapes on table but we was defo not vaping as we had just come back from outside and placed them on the table , I suggest in future check the cameras before pointing your miserable finger at customers this was bang out of order And i suggest you go on a customer service course because you are a very rude manager.
