Great service and croissants!
Small bakery located in a fairly hidden alley, open only in the evening from 8pm to 1am. You don't go there by chance, but you go there specifically to taste something different. The huge brioches, soft and filled with various creams. Congratulations to the lady who welcomed us and had a chat with us.
The places are made and managed by people and in this review they are the ones I would like to talk about. Also because we all know that Staggia 's pastas are good and there are many ones : . However, little is said about people even though they create the products we eat. In the middle of the night, the manager of this pastry shop saw three customers in uniform arrive, three volunteers from the Colle di Val D 'Elsa Public Assistance. These people, unaware of the owner 's intentions, begin to ask for pastries for their families too. In practice, 3 people take away over 12 pieces. At the time of the bill, the owner doesn 't hesitate for a second and says: In these moments we must all stop and ask you thank you. What is missing is the culture that teaches us from childhood that you are volunteers and that your work is not taken for granted. It is the least that I can do it! Great!
Opening times are very convenient if you are staying on the village while visiting the area. The pastries are huge and the prices are cheap!
