Feedback gevenThe meatloaf here has Marsala sauce on it and it’s more like a gourmet Salisbury steak. Definitely worth getting the meatloaf special on Mondays. They make their mashed potatoes from scratch.
Overall it was ok. My son got the teriyaki filet. My other son got a bacon cheeseburger. I got the chicken piccata. Sons said their food was great and they said the ketchup was really good but my chicken was terrible. I don 't know what happened but the piccata sauce was just a gelatinous gravy on top of the chicken and pasta. It was mayonnaise like and so thick I thought it was cheese. It was an insult to chicken piccata everywhere. I mixed the gravy up with the pasta and tried to eat it but I just couldn 't get past it. I did eat the chicken and it was ok. It seemed like the piccata sauce was premade and cold and they just slapped it over the chicken and pasta. Maybe next time I 'll stick to something more basic from the menu. Aside from that staff was pleasant and good atmosphere.

Fresh is exactly a good description. I was told they only have a freezer for the ice cream. Everything else is fresh. Made every day. The lasagna incredibly meaty and a spicy ? kick. The gumbo was very tasty. Definitely will be coming back. What a a hidden
All I have to say is KEEP FRANKIE (the manager). She is great. There was an issue with ordering on UberEats. I called the restaurant to ask if UberEats was intentionally down for the night. I spoke to Jasmine first. I called back because I could tell that Jasmine was either unsure or unwilling to put in the work to help. I spoke to Frankie the 2nd call and she fixed the issue with Ubereats, called me back to make sure I knew it was fixed, and ALL our food was prepared wonderfully. We had Cajun chicken pasta, spinach dip, a chicken sandwich, and grits. Everything we ordered was great! Also, we were appreciative of Frankie’s customer service.
