We went on Sunday afternoon after making a family reservation. The service, although it seemed willing, was insufficient as a result of which we ordered after 40 minutes and until the food came (but 40 minutes or so) neither drinks nor bread for the children had been brought to the table. The Cretan salad was very tasty, the potatoes nice and the bread delicious. The saganaki had become rubbery and was over fried. Let's go to the mains, which must have been frozen. The chicken smelled and was dry. The pork that came was frozen and we gave it back...the rest of the dishes (kontosouvli, butchered beef, zucchini and tyrokauteri) were indifferent but not bad enough to deserve a bad Cretan.

We had heard good things about the tavern and visited it today 21.1.24.unfortunately our disappointment was huge. What can I do? We had made a reservation and finally when we got there they were looking for a table to put us in. They put us next to the door where some kids were opening and closing it to play and as a result the cold air was constantly coming at us. When we told the waiter he replied.. .and what to do kids is....(parents couldn't command them too we sat for 2 hours and froze. 2. the food was lousy. the chicken frozen and burnt. the kids lousy. everything else very very average. 3. regarding the service...we waited too long for everything, they brought us the wrong order, the waiters are petty regardless of the item.. Finally... the tables were crammed together. You had to push yourself to sit down (we're skinny : . People were passing by from the adjacent tables and they were pushing us... The prices are normal for the quantities we got, but what to do when you've had such a bad time? Notably..this is the first time I've written a bad review for any place I've visited. I hope the people in charge read it and I hope they improve their services even a little.
