Feedback gevenWe were not impressed. The service felt like we were back in school in a small study group, being instructed to open our menus to the first page. It was a bit off-putting. The ricotta toast had an unexpected spicy kick from chili sauce. The main dish was mediocre. The location was convenient with easy parking, but I would suggest trying one of the neighboring restaurants instead of this one.
This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were extremely impressed. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere was lively and laid-back. The food was outstanding! The Brussels sprouts were possibly the best I've ever had. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be returning!
Our salsa and entrees were good, and the ambience of the restaurant was pretty good. However the cocktails, about as expensive as most places these days, were mostly ice. The biggest challenge was an inexplicably aggressive waiter who appeared to be trying to rush us out; seemed to think we needed to be taught how to read menus; and, when we explained that the pavlova dessert had something wrong with it (the sauce tasted like it contained salt instead of sugar) he actually replied “I just tasted it, believe me it’s fine.”
New chef is outstanding. A new twist to their famous sausage rolls. Beer battered barramundi fish and chips was so fresh and good. Meat pies of the month never disappoint. Pastas great. They have added new items on the menu and specials Excellent wine list by the glass or bottle.
I will be coming back for sure! Great service and great food.
