So much that this is the only restaurant we visited twice during our trip in Washington. Second time, ordered an entire meal of only nigiri. The restaurant was clean and the food is fast. Would definitely return.
Always consistent!! Friendly service and delicious food. The food came out warm and smelling amazing it took a lot for me not to start eating in the car driving back to the house.
Absolutely a wonderful experience. We had to wait 30 minutes because it was really busy during dinner. Excellent service and food quality were amazingly fresh. We had Super Bowl Poke and Sushi Bento Box, both were amazing! Very recommended!
I've been living in Asia for 9 years and that's the most perfect sushi I've ever had. They are so generous with portions and the fish is so fresh that it melts in the mouth! Not to mention, the place was perfectly clean! And the service was fabulous. The staff was so friendly and welcome! I wish I could eat here every day.
My family and I spent the afternoon in early evening hours in Camano Island State Park and it was so beautiful. When we drove from Camano Island to Stanwood, we discovered Happy Teriyaki. Of course we decided to stop. My sister in the law and I went in and we were immediately greeted by two young men. I loved her enthusiasm! When we went through the menu board, we chose a few combo plates that contain two cups of rice and a side salad. We ordered a Teriyaki Chicken Katsu Chicken combi plate, a Teriyaki Chicken Beef Kalbi (Short Ribs) combi plate and two sides Shrimp Tempura. It took some time to prepare the plates, so we waited in our vehicle until they brought out the food. The side salad was crunchy and cold as I like my salad. And the Teriyaki chicken was deliciously not too glazed, not excessively sweet, and also not too salty. It was the right consistency for Teriyaki. I really enjoyed it with the short grain steamed rice. I really didn't need the extra teriyaki sauce that came with. I thought the beef Kalbi was okay; it is actually much thinner than I expected, but still good. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the Chicken Katsu. It was hard to swallow in and too dry, I almost thought I was eating pig! It was also Blande. Everything else was better. Overall we enjoyed our meal of Happy Teriyaki and we were glad to have found this on the highway. Asian comfort food to feel us “home” away from home.
