I am a big fan of the open microphone on Thursday evening, esp as a new musician. Not only the hosts are super encouraging, but also the staff owner. They encourage me to keep in mind that I really appreciate it. It is a great place for people who just start because you get a chance to play with some really big musicians. Thank you to everyone. I love, LOVE Loco Billy's Wild Moon Saloon! It has all the charm you could ask from an authentic country music club! The owners are gracious and the music is always great. Thursday is open microphone, so you can go jam or enjoy all the musicians who stop playing. There is nothing better than local live music and good people to share it. What a hidden jewel in our own backyard! With the shutdown of live music by COVID, we stumbled over Loco Billys and were blown away from the musical talent. On Thursday evening it is open microphone, and the level of talent is spirit blows. I left at the end of the night and feel like I went to a paid concert, but it's free. The owners have upgraded the air filter system and have a great sound system for the bands. Major and Cookie have done a great job, bringing talents and offering a welcoming place to enjoy drinks, music, dance and friendship for all who walk in the door.

We look forward to going to Billy 's 'almost ' every week. It is always great, no matter who comes to jam with Chris and Richard. Not only are they amazing musicians, but wonderful people too. We have met so many new friends there. Cookie and Major are doing such a fantastic job of providing a great venue. I hope they know how much we all appreciate them!
