The Veranda - Starkville

We were extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. The food was cold and the service was subpar. Despite previous positive experiences at this establishment, our Thanksgiving meal was a complete letdown. Our server barely checked on our table, and the food we did receive was not worth the $362 bill. My companion has vowed to never return. The reviews on TripAdvisor seem to reflect our own sentiments. Although the flavors of the dishes were promising, they were too cold to enjoy. If only someone had inquired about our meal, we could have voiced our dissatisfaction.

The portions are generous, and the food is delicious! I would definitely return.

Terrible. Steak sent back 3x for being improperly cooked and cold each time. Didn’t want it removed from bill originally, only corrected. However, after 3 failures no apologies or efforts to correct were attempted. It was clear I nor my experience wasn’t important to the staff that served me. Further, while not a big deal, I Was told on arrival that reservations must be made hours in advance, your app doesn’t disclose that- if such is the case, they shouldn’t be accepted
