Brooks' Deck At Edgewood Tahoe

Ever want to see how 'the other half lives '?! Go have lunch at the Brooks ' Bar Deck at the Edgewood Resort and golf course in South Lake Tahoe. The limited menu reflects chef prepared items at a reasonable price. The food was delicious (grilled chicken sandwich, fish tacos, wedge salad). Sitting on the shaded deck on a sunny day is a treat. Lunch and beverages (non-alcoholic) for three, plus tip, was $86. Would definitely recommend making a reservation or you can expect to wait a while. Also, taking a quick stroll around the grounds near the lake after lunch was better than desert. Note, there is no self-parking so expect to pay for valet parking.

Brooks has great views and ambiance with the lake front. But. Some of the pricing is questionable. My wife had a glass of the Harkin Chardonnay. 16$ a glass. A bottle at Total Wine is 14$. Excuse me?? They also had Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay for 14$ a glass. Total Wine is 23$. Somebody needs to do math better....

Great service, the food is good not exceptional but definitely good. My husband had the 3 tacos and I had the spring salad. The tacos were $8.00 a piece not large taco, not $8.00 taco! My salad was $14.00 I think and was more like 1/2 salad yummy but small!

This place was truly amazing. From the views, customer service to the food. No complaints whatsoever. Our server Savanah was a true gem. We came here for my birthday and honesty we couldn't of picked a better place to dine in. Thank you soo much!
