Bomond - Staten Island

Had a great bar mitzvah for my son at the Boumond. They were extremely accommodating and reasonable! All the guests loved the place!

Rude and highly unprofessional staff and customer service! I called to place an order for pick up and the lady answering the phone was extremely rude! She refused certain orders for specific dishes, but in a very rude tone! I got so turned off by her rude responses that I made it known that if taking an order from a customer is such a pain to her, I'd take my order elsewhere, which she rudely responded that I should take it elsewhere. I hung up the phone never being so disgusted with the service I cannot call customer service. I've never been to this restaurant and most definitely will never go there. This place doesn't deserve the 1 star it's received as I can't put ZERO.

Absolutely amazing spot to celebrate any parties: live music on the weekends, great clean and fresh food, super friendly staff. I've been in many Russian restaurants for birthdays, weddings, special events, and Bomond is by far better than most. I've read some reviews about outdated decor, but it's super clean and as an event/party space it does its job. Just yesterday, we celebrated my mom's birthday. Everyone in our party was impressed with food and service. We met the owner, Ludmila, and we were thrilled to personally thank her. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Food was ok at best. Very small area, no room for kids. Owner yelled at my guests!!! She said that kids should just sit at their small uncomfortable chairs. Never going back again!!!

Excellent service, excellent food, very nice place to spend time with your friends and family. Nice interior. Recommended!
