Fushimi Staten Island

We ordered the kani salad, edamame, and rock shrimp as our appetizers, and everything was delicious. However, they brought out too many hot and cold appetizers all at once. We also tried the American Dream roll, which was incredibly delicious, and a bottle of Hana sake that really made the evening special.

We enjoyed the Out of Control roll, the surf and turf roll, and spicy salmon, all of which were fantastic. For appetizers, we had the fried calamari, and for dessert, we tried the fried ice cream—it was all a wonderful meal. The service was excellent too. When we mentioned to our server that one of the martinis wasn't as strong as we prefer, he promptly took care of it, which was a nice touch! Overall, it was a great experience!

Our only concern was with the service. The waitress was lovely, but she lacked experience.

Friendly staff and awesome sushi. Always fresh and delicious. Cool vibe inside. Great spot on Staten Island.

I’ve been here a few times before. While the food is always great, the service tends to be much better on the weekends than it ever is during the week so I stopped going on weekdays. Fabulous food though!!
