Juicy Lucy Bbq - Staten Island

The food was outstanding! We tried the Texas-style brisket, BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, mac and cheese, and cornbread. The brisket and ribs were absolutely incredible—so juicy, tender, and packed with flavor! However, the mac and cheese could definitely use more seasoning. As for the cornbread, I wouldn't order it again; it was just way too dense. For drinks, we had a strawberry/mango margarita and a strawberry daiquiri. The open-air setup (with no air conditioning) made it tough for the drinks, as they melted before reaching our table. On the plus side, the location is perfect, situated right by the beach. I really appreciated the vibe from the server and the rest of the staff; they seemed to genuinely enjoy their work environment.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I had heard great reviews from friends, but I wasn't sure what to expect. The food was incredible—the ribs were tender and practically fell off the bone, and the drinks were fantastic. Jeff served our table, and he was excellent at recommending both drinks and food. Toward the end of our meal, the owner came in, introduced himself, and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This place has definitely become a new favorite for us!

Juicy Lucy's brisket and St. Louis ribs truly impressed me! The brisket is outstanding, and the ribs were so tender that they practically fell off the bone. I usually prefer my ribs dry-rubbed, and while the sauce was a little overpowering for my taste, I didn’t mind making a bit of a mess enjoying those tasty ribs. Their mac and cheese was fantastic as well. The service was excellent—thank you to all the staff! I also had the pleasure of meeting Junior, who greeted me and every guest with genuine warmth and a smile. I think the brisket here might just be the best I’ve tried at any barbecue restaurant. I’m looking forward to sitting outside in their spacious area on my next visit.

I was reminded of my time in Texas while dining here. The brisket, ribs, and chicken were fantastic, and you can order them by the pound. The coleslaw and mac and cheese paired perfectly with a nice Blue Moon. If you're a meat lover, this is definitely a place you should check out.

This is a great local BBQ spot. It's a nice place to enjoy drinks and some brisket. In my opinion, the brisket is excellent, though the steaks and burgers are just average. The vibe and atmosphere are also enjoyable. I would definitely give it a solid 4 stars.
