Misaki Sushi - Staten Island

My favorite spot on an island.Misaki is an outstanding Japanese restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my dining experience. The menu offered a wide selection of authentic Japanese dishes, and each one was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the sashimi was top-notch. The miso soup was rich and comforting, and the tempura had a perfect crispiness. Moreover, the attention to detail in every aspect, from the service to the decor, truly made Misaki a delightful place to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable Japanese dining experience.

I walk in and get sat at a dirty table and get soy sauce all over my legs and purse. Then, I go back in after thinking about leaving and deciding to stay (this is at 8:55) and they tell me they close at 9… why I go on the website and every app and it says they close at 10. Idk if they thought I was already mad and wouldn’t tip bc I’m black or what but I’m furious. Don’t go here.

Today was our first time here and everything was absolutely delicious. All the rolls were fresh, and the ingredient combinations were genius. Service was exquisite and welcoming. I was mesmerized by the sparkles in the galaxy drink. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in the area.
