Loc's Chicken Waffles - Statesboro

I ordered what they 're known for and is in their name. Chicken and Waffles. Which, was pretty tasty in individual pieces, but together? It was pretty disappointing.This dish is served with a sweet strawberry butter and Spicy maple syrup. I don 't think I was given the right toppings in that sense, because the butter was just regular butter, and the syrup was neither maple 'nor spicy. And simply just tasted very bland over all.The establishment boasts on their menu about CRISPY CHICKEN in all caps. This chicken was anything but crispy.Inside, it 's a very crowded and noisy atmosphere, with nothing mention able about the decoration.I was excited to try a classic Chicken Waffles dish with a twist but even its basic parts were drab and bland. Oh well.

The food was very good, but service is very slow. There were 10 of us and all the other tables were waited on first, even though we arrived before several of them. It was a 10 minute wait between bringing out our orders. I was always taught to wait until everyone was served before eating, so mine was cold by the time the last 3 got their meals. They had plenty of help, so I'm not sure what the issue was.

I've gave this place 2 times and the food is never really that hot . Service is slow. And they don't have things when you order them. But it's all up to a individual own opinion.Food: 1/5

I really enjoy going to this restaurant. They are always nice and courteous. The food is excellent! And I love the strawberry butter they put on the Belgian waffles!Food: 5/5
