Bj Hibachi Buffet - Statesville

The food here is fantastic, and the service is excellent! It's also more affordable than I anticipated. I highly recommend this restaurant for family dinners or date nights. I took my daughter and grandson out for dinner, and it was his first visit—he's already excited to come back! He gave it his highest praise! My daughter frequents this place, knowing he would love the food. I've been here a few times myself and have always enjoyed the great buffet selections. For those who are unaware, there’s a lovely grill at the back of the restaurant where you can choose your meat, fish, and vegetables, and they cook it in front of you. The atmosphere is wonderful as well, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming!

I had the best catfish I've ever tasted—tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The shrimp were fresh and great for peeling and eating, and the frog legs were delicious—large and meaty. The staff was both efficient and very friendly. The food was excellent, fresh, and plentiful. When we were there (early on), there were only about eight diners, but the kitchen continued to send out fresh dishes. While you might have to wait for some items, fresh food will quickly be available at the buffet. This approach is much better than letting food sit out and become stale. They did a fantastic job rotating the buffet, ensuring that there was always fresh food, though some items might take a few minutes to replenish. In the 30 minutes we were there, it seemed like all the cooked items were replaced with fresh ones right from the kitchen. I enjoyed only the freshest offerings, even with the small crowd. The food rotation process was impressive and well-executed. I highly recommend this place and give it a well-deserved 5 stars!

The food was enjoyable, but the service was extremely disappointing. The first waitress who assisted us seemed uninterested and was rather rude. We waited about 20 minutes just to receive our drinks, which were only tea. Then, she decided to sit down and eat her own meal. The second waitress only came over as we were preparing to leave, and soon after, she too disappeared to grab something to eat, just like the first. In summary, while the food was quite good, the poor customer service and the staff's rudeness overshadowed our dining experience. Because of this, I can only rate this place a 1 out of 5 and have no intention of returning.

If you're unsure about dining here, feel free to check out the food first; you're welcome to do so. However, if you decide to sit down, order a drink, and receive a plate of food, keep in mind that you will need to pay—no exceptions. The food is consistently delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff treats you with respect. Once again, don’t be swayed by false claims. Come and see for yourself—this place is truly fantastic!

This is an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant, and they also offer a hibachi grill if you're in the mood for something cooked, although I've never sampled the food from that area. The buffet is generally quite good, although there have been a few times when the food was a bit dried out. The wait staff is consistently friendly to my family, and our drinks are rarely allowed to go empty. It's definitely worth a visit if you're really hungry!
