Great family run pub and fantastic food. A nice change for the area. Well worth a visit.

Been for Sunday dinner, lovely meal, friendly staff and great service. We will be returning very soon

Staff were very pleasant through out the night. Unfortunately waited 1 hour 20 for food and the first person to be served had eaten there’s before the last person received theirs. Food wasn’t great and the kids orders were wrong. Although staff member offered free Birthday Sundae which was kind. Unfortunately we won’t be returning. All the best for the future.

Dined with the family today it was delicious. The steak pie was one of the best I’ve ever had, no need for a dessert afterwards. Great reports from the family about the Sunday lunch too. Lovely homemade food in a nice atmosphere. Glad to see the local pub finally providing quality food. Also compliments to the staff, looking forward to eating at The Castle Arms again
