We sat in a curved roof floor, so dusty and muffy, I couldn't eat.) After sitting, I commented the hostess that it was quite hot in the room dachboden.) she replied: “Yes, it's because you just rode up the stairs.” No.15 years old girl who divorces in edible, it's hot because we're on top floor and the heat radiates. the eating was a mixed bag that was so delicious that they might consider committing a crime to get more, and a steak that was unusable. steamboat is great, but not a city of Go-Helfer. the relaxed mood is appreciated in the rule, but not when they need hard facts or excellent instructions, for example how to get to the restaurant, or where the toilets are located. omg, which reminds me: if they have a trickbble, or plan to bring children or opa with the scissual prostate problem. now, not the only toilets are located in the lobby, which is two etagens, and in serious, six steps from the musty dachboden. maybe they will be happy and a reservation for a table a floor. I digress. concerning the bar, no complaining on a hard pour. I am sure that many children were conceived after a night in Hazie’s. the bartender will pour out everything he wants. my man ordered a drink for me, but barely man poured something else. no word about it. hubris someone? say something. Do not make decisions about my tequila.
Perhaps this was a mismatch of expectations but, overall, I’d rate the a 3 star. The service was exceptional from beginning to end. The hostess made us feel welcome and our server was exceptional. The food was mediocre at best. I had lobster bisque, the filet with scallops as an add-on and the spice cake for desert. Spice cake was very good. The main entree and soup were okay. They both lacked any sort of wow factor and the portions were so large that I felt overwhelmed. My wife had the charred asparagus soup, which I thought was tasty, the striped bass and lemon desert. I didn’t try her main dish but needed up finishing her desert. It was that good! The view of the valley at night was amazing. I’d try this place again but with so many other options around, it’ll be a while.
Table was not ready when we arrived for reservation. (It was not a busy lunchtime, Tuesday at 115). We were then seated at a lovely window table with dirty water glasses. Service was extremely slow. Food was ok (onion soup for me, a wrap for my daughter).
Hazie’s is a tradition for our family ski trips. The overall experience does not disappoint. The view is spectacular and the service is professional, courteous, and unobtrusive The staff works hard to ensure everything is to your satisfaction. The food is very good and the selection is good given the logistics of mountaintop dining. The upgraded gondola ride is warm and cozy compared with 10 years ago.
As long is the same manager, NO. She was awful and made a big deal because we got there earlier than our reservation. Wanted us out of the restaurant because of that. She said the place was going to be crowded and she couldn't sit us. And that was a lie, because it was empty and remained that way, except for a few tables. The staff was nice, the food was too, but she was an awful person and manager.
