We were in town for a baseball game, and I wanted something different. This cute little Cajun hideaway was amazing. The boiled platter was great, and the price was very reasonable. I had the shrimp po-boy, and it was DEVINE. Honestly all the food had a superb flavor. I was highly disappointed in the size of the catfish, (supposed to be three pieces but never in my life have I seen catfish that tiny) but the taste was awesome and it was cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend stopping by for authentic Cajun cuisine and flavors.
The shrimp was not good to me was overpriced. It was not seasoned very well looked/tasted as if it had been cooked earlier in the day sat in a hot pot all day(mushy/shells falling off/watery) The potatoes corn tasted as if they had been boiled in plain water. The sausage was good but its hard to mess that up. Deviled eggs tasted ok, just not my style. However 2lbs of mediocre at best shrimp, 4 eggs, one can soda 2 beers should not be $63. Workers were friendly but thats not enough to make the food worth it.
Crawfish were awesome!!! Seasoned perfectly for me. The corn, potatoes, and sausage were great as well!!! Will definitely be back. Service was great and super friendly. Not the cheapest place to eat but you get what you pay for!!!!
It was really good. Service not so much. Never got refills on drinks. The remoulade sauce was some of the best I’ve ever had. The fried shrimp and oysters were great. Portions were small for the price and you’re only allowed one sauce even with the combo plate unless you pay for more. Also I do not understand the extra charge for credit cards. Next they will be asking us to help pay for electric. It’s part of doing business.
