Access is difficult through the forest, but when you arrive there, a very nice place to eat and stroll in the beautiful surroundings on site with the magnificent flowers and a landscaped small zoo park and a small pond where the fish are caught.

I've been living here in the area for more than 10 years. But we were the first time in the Bergmannsklause. The environment is very worth seeing. The garden is embedded as a small botanical garden in an imposing historical mining scene. The building itself was created very lovingly. Those who like it quietly and comfortably are here. The food is excellent. From the Bergmannsklause you can hike the region around Sonneberg and Lauscha, so south of the Rennsteig. In times of the Borkenkäfer, the nearby peaks offer very beautiful views.
