The Upperhessian town of Steinau on the street is also titled as a brother Grimm town, which the two famous Grimm brothers Jacob and Wilhelm lived here. This can be experienced step by step. e.g. a beautiful fairytale fountain, guided costumed fairytale city tours, brothers Grimm Museum, the residence of the Grimm family..........but also otherwise the pretty town with its well preserved historic old town and the castle is worth a visit. The Bavarian court is located in the idyllic district of Marborn, not far from Kinzigtalstausees. A beautiful beer garden with vine grapes welcomed us, we liked to sit here . In the local interior everything is quite rustic with lots of wood. Small menu with predominantly bourgeois dishes and a vasper cards invite you to stay. We ordered: homemade ice tea very delicious, not too sweet with many fresh lemon slices. Rumpsteak Mexicana Rumpsteak although medium ordered,wurde it served through, the Mexicana at the Rumpsteak consisted of 3! panned, fried onion rings I find something imaginative, the spicy sauce consisted of cocktail sauce with chili flakes overcrowded, the added sweet potato pomes and the salad were not. The service was somewhat uncoordinated and overwhelmed, and although 3 very friendly service staff served us, when the food was served there was no cutlery, this was brought but also forgotten the napkins. Perhaps it was only because a closed company celebrated a round birthday at the same time.

Cheap prices, super eating and breakfast, great beer garden, nice staff. was a week beautiful location for our bike tour.

Beautiful and clean rooms. very good breakfast and dinner. the owners are very friendly. had a very nice stay and can only recommend the hotel.

Simply top, were too gast in the Bavarian hof, super friendly reception, dinner in the Bavarian hof top it was a tasty,very delicious, I can only recommend
