I would recommend this hotel anyway, but please: even more attention to eating. I cannot understand why so many people were satisfied with it.
Good beds, nice room, but. the evening buffer was bad. no vegetarian warm eating and no fish hot eating. stir dry and taste something like rotten milk. breakfast buffer allso poor. I found rotten grapes and all rob where not washed. for me, these meens og care about eating and product lacks. Breakfast-Waiter sloppy attitude and not even say hot and good tomorrow. like a zombie walking around. everything in all could have been done better. but Verry kinder resepsjonist when we came and when we were gone.
A good place to stop when they're over. the evening buffet is good, including homemade meals. large and comfortable bed. the private parking is located directly next to the entrance. the evening buffet clock ends too early, so they can't arrive at night without missing the good evening meal.
How often do they eat breakfast and dinner with a view of a 1,000-year-old Viking place? the hotel rooms are a good size, clean and have fixed mattresses. clean towels are provided daily, and there is soap and a basic hair/body wash. I was here twice and the free wlan was good in both parts of the hotel. the employees speak all English and there were no problems with bookings or asking. Eating is a fantastic selection of freshly prepared options served as buffet. the options are often meat hard, with a lot of fish too. I am vegetarian, and the cook made a fast and tasty omelette for me on the day of arrival, then has added a hot vegetarian dish for the duration of my stay to the evening meal. I suspect that vegan options are also supported, but fish, eggs and cheese, along with a lot of sausages, seem to be prominent in diet, so vegan travel probably have more restricted options, but there is a good choice of salats, so there is always something at least! to breakfast there are gluten-free weiden for those who need it. some parts of the building are quite charming old-fashioned, but the viking burial stones are a highlight that they simply do not fit differently. overall I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others.
Dinner is available til 9 pm and you can get free Norwegian waffles tea or coffee whenever you want. Hotel room looks good. It's simple but comfortable. Including a nice balcony. Mini bar is hella expensive so get your own stuff.
