We had a delightful meal at this lovely restaurant this evening. The service here is super good and very professional yet down to earth. We had the warm salad as a starter which was preceeded by the tastiest bread platter on the house. For main course we had the vegetable stack and the rib eye. The steak has to rate amongst the top steaks I have eaten. Very well prepared with a delicious side of mash potatoes. For desert we had the poached pear and the banana sticky toffee pudding. Every course was delicious. I so recommend stopping in here if you are in Stellenbosch. You will not be disappointed.

We walked in without booking in advance. The place was cosy and fancy. The food was so rich and delicious. I enjoyed my slow braised lamb a lot. The highlight was the dessert, it was divine. It was not too sweet and the combination of the malva pudding and ice cream worked together splendidly. From my colleagues' words, their fish dishes are tasty as well. It was a very satisfying dinner.

We had a wonderful lunch there yesterday. The starters and main courses were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't have any room left for dessert!

Where to start? The setting is stunning, but what truly sets this place apart is the incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive staff, providing hospitality of the highest caliber. As for the food? It’s beyond extraordinary! Honestly, I can’t recall any other place on this planet that has served such an exquisite, superb, and perfectly balanced dinner. The duck pâté and lamb were exceptional, complemented by wonderful regional wines—a refreshing rosé from Lanzarac's pinotage with a delightful zest, and a rich Syrah from La Motte that featured notes of dark leather, cocoa, and soft plums. I would give it full stars, if not more! Could this be the best culinary experience of my life? Thank you so much to the amazing staff for an evening I will never forget!
