Irena's Pastry Bistro

This delightful coffee bistro offers excellent crepes and mushroom pierogi, along with very good coffee. The staff is friendly and provides great service.

This restaurant was great until the staff left my change on the counter. I find that really disrespectful—when I’m paying, I expect to be treated with respect. You've lost a customer. Next time, please hand the change directly to people; it’s a matter of respect. Additionally, I noticed a staff member in the back making cakes without gloves or a hairnet, which is concerning.

One of my favorite dishes there is the hot pork sandwich. It features pork that is pounded flat, lightly breaded, and topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a spicy sauce. However, during this visit, I found it to be a bit salty for my taste. They also have fantastic rye bread, imported from Canada twice a week, so it's a good idea to call ahead before your visit to ensure availability.

Always great, my favorite polish food place. We were a little surprised when the pork loin sandwich came out a burger. Crepes were to die for.

Disappointed in the paczki I bought. Dry donut with very little filling. Hollow hole with a smear of filling. Not worth the $21.00 per dozen I paid.
