Champs Pizza - Sterling

I?m not kidding when i say this is the best burger in a 5 mile radius. Good chunk of meat, stability, well seasoned, properly cooked, not gonna break the bank. Other good menu items: french fries, wings, and their specialty pizzas. I haven?t tried the rice bowls.

Three employees on duty, but had to shout behind the counter to get one to come to the register. Got a Meatball sub combo menu clearly shows $7.99 $2.99, but I was charged $9.49 $4.50. Realize there?s inflation, but a 30% variance seems shady. Food was pretty good though. Sub had lots of meatballs and cheese. Fries won?t win any awards, but were adequate.

Oh, where to start! I spotted this place off Old Ox Road and it instantly caught my attention. Just the look of the restaurant made me think it was going to be a great experience. I was a bit worried that the menu might be expensive, but to my delight, the prices were quite reasonable considering the generous portions and the high quality of the food. I ordered the mushroom steak sandwich with fries and a drink, and it was ready in less than ten minutes! I took it to go and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I went there for lunch and really enjoyed the Calzone. The service was fast and friendly, and they had a busy lunch crowd. I absolutely recommend this place and plan to return. However, I can't give it five stars because the Tornado fries were overcooked and inedible; I couldn’t even give them away. This is what was left after multiple attempts to enjoy them. Nobody wanted them, which is a shame because they had a lot of potential and smelled amazing.

The menu is excellent, and the pizza is delicious. We particularly enjoy their Philly cheese steak pizza and honey BBQ wings.
