Excellent Food, Varied Specials, Terrific Homemade Desserts Great People!. Friday, 03/06, I ordered the salmon special (panko crust and horseradish sauce) with a side of sauteed vegetables and a glass of Malbec and finished with the Bananas Foster dessert special. They always do a great job of cooking fish just to the point of doneness; retaining all the flavor and natural juices. Salmon was great and the sauce offset the richness of the fish. The place was packed but I still got great service from Tiffany as I sat at the bar. In fact, it was the busiest I 've ever seen with about 10 people at one time waiting for a table to open up. This is the best evidence of the food and service one gets at The Harvest Grille. Tim and Susan, the proprietors, are great people who enjoy their customers and listen to what makes them happy. Servers Bea and Tiffany have been there quite a while and do a terrific job of taking care of their customers. Brendan, a recent addtion to the kitchen, has made quite an impact with his Italian contributions to the specials; last week I had one of the best Veal Parm sandwiches i 've ever tasted. Brendan has also made great additions to the dessert specials: Bread Pudding, Bananas Foster, Tapioca Pudding. Some people may say they pay a little more at the Grille versus other small, Mom and Pop restaurants, and I would agree: however, they also get more at the Grille: high quality meals cooked to order with varied daily entree and dessert specials with friendly, attentive service. The food is much more than one would expect at a small, local restaurant. Don 't shortchange yourself; make a visit.
Excellent burgers! The buns they use are proportionate to the meat, the burger itself tastes great, and the fries are really nice. Definitely a new favorite for me!
Amazing vegetarian options. One of the only places I e been able to find that has perfected vegetarian French onion soup. My carnivorous husband enjoyed their French dip sandwich which he LOVED! House make guacamole with toasted pita chips were great also. Defiantly planning s trip back soon!
