La Carreta - Stillwater

La Carreta is a hidden gem in Stillwater when it comes to authentic Mexican cuisine. Not only is the location clean and easily accessible, but the food is also absolutely delicious. I tried the chimichanga and tacos here and was very impressed by the flavor of both dishes. They offer the option to dine in or order takeout in a traditional restaurant setting with a bar. The steak tacos I had during my last visit were especially delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Mexican food in the area. You won't be disappointed!

The food was tasty and served in generous portions. We were able to eat until we were full and then relax. Despite the small size of the restaurant, we could sit outside in the summer and soak up the sun. While there weren't many seats and the parking space was limited, it wasn't a big issue. The mango drink was also fantastic and definitely worth trying! This is a wonderful spot to visit with friends, enjoy delicious food, and support local businesses.
