This year, I visited Tookes for the second time. I've noticed a change in your food. While you smoke the meat excellently, it could benefit from a bit more seasoning. On the positive side, you certainly provide generous portions for the price. The sides were especially impressive; the Mac and Cheese was some of the best I've had in a long time.

This restaurant offers a unique experience unlike any other. Its rustic, old-fashioned ambiance adds to its charm. The food is outstanding, and the former owner, Mr. Tooke, is a really friendly guy. If you're craving ribs, this is definitely a great spot to consider.

Tookes' BBQ sticks to the traditional method of cooking, and it's fantastic! I tried the pulled pork sandwich, and it was not only delicious but also big enough to satisfy two meals. Love the old hole on the walls! Right on the side of the street and delicious. I got the ribbed tip plate, the sauce was good and added the smoked ribs. Come on!

First time there I really wanted to try there Brunswick stew I got the 12 oz it was so good then we also got the chicken plate with collard greens, macaroni and cheese for my husband and I got the smoke link plate with potato salad collard greens everything was great and we will be back
