But cheap here means loss of quality. The naan was a favourite. The rice not so. The curry lacked flavour and felt more made for a Swedish palate. Staff rude and desert menu very limited. Tasty and wonderful poppadoms. This venue is card only.
Good and tasty Indian food. Lunch for about 100 sek (10€ including naan. Pick your own salad, pickles and papadam at lunch. A wide range of vegan food, as well as dishes with lamb or chicken. Popular even for dinner with a bit higher prices.
I quite like my Indian restaurants a bit basic, because they are often hidden gems. Holy Cow fits into this category. Service was brisk and friendly, they serve cobra lager (excellent) and have a limited wine list (which is OK). Food has simple choices, which again i approve. Nan bread was excellent. Would go again.
Don't be fooled by the look of the place, it is really worth a visit or two. What's not to like; cheap and delish! We ordered two dishes, a coke and a side of garlic naan. Salad, papadums with condemens, sweet tea and water was free, as were coffee I chose the Madras chicken and my husband the mango chicken. I looooved mine, it was spiced perfectly, my husband was thrilled about his mango, not so spicy but to his liking. For Stochholm it is VERY cheap lunch, and we talked about that it was a pitty we only found this gem the last day, would absolutly come back again!
Having read all the good reviews I thought I would give it a go. It’s very average, there are a look of vegetarian options but this is standard in Indian cuisine. It always worries me when I hear a microwave pinging, it taints the food in a particularly unpleasant way. Portions were ok but it way mainly sauce. Won’t be going back.
