I had the mega breakfast what consisted of. 2 hash browns which were decent enough, a smallish portion of baked beans, a reasonable portion of tasty mushrooms, two tinned tomatoes, 2 thick rashers of tasty bacon, 2 chipolata sausages which were very tasty, 2 thick slices of black pudding, 2 fried runny eggs, 2 slices of white buttered toast slightly cold. A lovelly latte. My son enjoyed his sausage sandwich and cup of tea. A good and extensive menu. Good and pleasant service. A great breakfast.
I had the mega breakfast this time. I sat at a table and waited a short time for my order to be taken. A had a good and tasty latte. My mega breakfast consisted of a smallish portion of mushrooms, 2 tinned tomatoes, a reasonable portion of tasty baked beans, 2 hash browns pleasant for what they were, 2 slices of tasty black pudding, 2 very tasty chipolata sausages, 2 fried eggs slightly overcooked, and 2 delicious rashers of bacon, with thin slices of toast served on the plate which would have been better on a side plate. Overall a great exprience. They have a extensive menu with a range of veggie dishes and a interesting and varied range of drinks.

I ordered a mega breakfast it took a while to arrive. 2 chipolata sausages which were decent enough, a smallish portion of baked beans, a smallish portion of mushrooms, nice tinned tomatoes, nice rashers of tasty bacon,, 2 thick slices of bury black pudding, hash brown okay for what they are but are not needed on a english breakfast, 2 decent fried eggs with runny yolks, 2 slices of white toast. A average latte. My son enjoyed his sausage sandwich, and cup of tea.I got 10percent of the menu as I showed them their facebook page on my phone.Have a extensive menu.Pleasant service in nice surroundings.
I went in here with my son for a drink. I had a lovely fruit and nut hot chocolate which was very tasty, my son had a chocolate torte dessert which he loved along with a cup of tea. Very friendly and polite service, in this cafe which does a range of meals and drinks.
We have recently moved to Romiley and have taken the opportunity to try the local cafes. Hewitts has a bit more of a budget feel decor than, say, Number 29, but they do a range of soups which are fabulous, the favourite of ours being the spicy lentil and bacon. Beware though, it is so popular they often run out, maybe they should think about making more? They do a range of menu meals, toasties, panini and sandwiches and often have specials as well. The specials are usually particularly good value and portion sizes are good.
